Aww, schucks!

Lisa from the lovely blog and shop Polka Dot Creations named my wee little blog as a spot that makes her day and awarded me with a “You Make My Day” award. All I can say is schucks! THAT made my day! Lisa makes incredible things from polymer clay. I’m not sure how she does it (looks like there’s a pasta machine involved, and some other serious equipment, including blades and ovens) but she turns blocks of color into amazing patterned, multicolor pendants, buttons, and necklaces. And even matches them to lines of fabric sometimes. Way awesome.

In order to pass along the blog karma, I’ll list just a small few of the blogs I am addicted to or maybe just discovered and want to get to know better. Some crafty, some not, but all great!

Elizabeth at Oh, Fransson! – she makes amazing things, and starts swap groups and bakes and is, in general, a crafty inspiration!

Craft BoomLisa at U-handbag’s business blog that talks all about starting and maintaining a small business – crafty or not!

Dori at Strongly Worded – A dear friend with a heartfelt and well-written blog about life that makes you want to come back for more.

Melinda at Anything Said – This blog always makes me laugh. Another dear friend who has an adorable child & dog, is a librarian, and expresses outrage (quite hilariously) about all sorts of stuff.

Erin at House On Hill RoadThis giraffe is enough to make anyone’s day! Plus, she is obsessed with the color green, which I can relate to.

Jo from Today We Are… – I just discovered this craft blog a week or two ago. She’s making a Sophia bag now and sharing all sorts of details and tips as well as her process. A keeper for me!

One of these days I’ll actually make myself a blog roll. Goodness knows I read enough of them! That, however, is a project for another day.  Happy reading!

Oh thank you! I’m so glad you’ll keep coming back.

FWIW I’m always meaning to update the blog roll on my site to represent the truth of my bloglines subscription but it can never catch up…

Awww. You make my day on a regular basis. I just miss the times when you could make my day in person.

  3. Dori Says:

I second Melinda (though I’m still lucky enough to get some in-person Robyn-love)!
