I stumbled upon your blog when I searched for craft room makeovers. You did a very nice job and inspired me to find better storage for my fabric. Right now, it's all in clear plastic storage boxes, which is ok until I have to empty an entire box to get to the piece I need on the bottom. I suppose I was thinking that the bigger boxes would be better. But now I realize that smaller ones, or drawers like yours, would be more functional.

I'll post before/after photos of my craft room makeover to my blog soon. But PLEASE don't compare - yours is much better!

Fantastic! I think I just have to take everything out of my craft room and start over again- the constant decluttering and reorganizing isn't getting me anywhere. I have also been harbouring a fantasy of taking over "the guest room" now that the boys are sharing the big bedroom...

Love the new craft room! I have been anxious to see how it would finish up - and I must say you've done a great job. As I looked at your fabric drawers, I actually saw a couple of pieces of cotton that I found in my quilt shop here in Kiev, Ukraine. Yes, it came from the U.S., but I can buy it here - and that is a blessing! Thanks for sharing!

The room is looking good! Did you feel amazed how all your fabric actually fit? I was surprised when I redid my fabric storage that my fabric stash wasn't *that* out of control...

Peggy, thank you SO much for the kind words! I'm so flattered and also glad that you enjoy the blog and that it's given you something to do during your recovery. Hope all is on the up-and-up. Good luck with the supply closet tidying. It's a labor of love (but definitely a labor!). Send before and after pics this way if you take any! -Robyn

Robyn,
I have sincerely enjoyed your craft room make over and you have inspired me to get my supply closet in order. I have been sick the past month and you have been my saving grace. I discovered your blog and read every entry from the beginning. I look forward to your posts.
