Rosanna, this note back to you is way, way, way, WAY later than your initial comment about the Hope Valley quilt (sorry!), but here's a list of fabrics I used: Denyse Schmidt's Flea Market Fancy (a couple of fabric - some teal on the back, the white background with circles and daisies), Amy Butler's Belle (dark blue with teal paisley), as well as some other Amy Butler yellow/green large loopy fabric in the yellow/green blocks, and some solids from my stash. I've also tagged them on Flickr so you can see which ones I mean (http://www.flickr.com/photos/dognamedbanjo/4223700757/in/set-72157607889593438/#/) Check it out! -Robyn

Lisa, those puckers are totally worth all of the effort! I also love how that quilting style produces a nice and firm, substantial-feeling quilt. Just takes a lot of time, and incidentally, a LOT of thread, which I almost ran out of (on Xmas day, when no stores would have been open and I was giving it to someone the NEXT day)! Phew!

Leigh, I had the same thought, actually, when the line came out. It all looked pretty in pictures, but then when I got it, I was unsure about big parts of it... I bought the entire line just for fun, and planned to use just the blues, but then lo and behold, this entire line quilt thing happened! I am really quite pleased with how it turned out! Thanks for the encouragement!
