I also love how that quilting style produces a nice and firm, substantial-feeling quilt. Just takes a lot of time, and incidentally, a LOT of thread, which I almost ran out of (on Xmas day, when no stores would have been open and I was giving it to someone the NEXT day)! It all looked pretty in pictures, but then when I got it, I was unsure about big parts of it... I bought the entire line just for fun, and planned to use just the blues, but then lo and behold, this entire line quilt thing happened! I am really quite pleased with how it turned out!
