I made a quilt.

This is a quilt I made for the best-dressed baby around, Ms. AJ, adorable daughter of E & K.   It’s my second crib quilt and also second quilt ever.  This little guy is a substitute for the well-intentioned, but ultimately unsuccessful mobile that I had planned to make for them all.  Oh well.  I like this much better anyway.  Not too crazy about all the free-motion quilting – I think it would have been nicer if it were a bit more simple. However, this is the first item that I’ve given away that has my label on it!  No pictures, but trust me when I tell you it’s super cute.   Quilt design is roughly a stacked coins / chinese coins design.  I sent it into the world this past weekend.

Breathtaking! I just love free-motion quilting! (I mean, I love looking at it – I can’t imagine ever actually *doing* it – I have far too little patience.)

Your color choices are great, too. I’m not a huge fan of pink, so I always love to see alternative choices for little girls 🙂

I couldn’t be prouder to be the owner of this quilt. I think AJ’s room will be decorated around it for the rest of her life.
