Craft Room Makeover – Part 3 – Asparagus!

And the other color I finally picked for the other two walls:

It’s kind of a wheaty color.  Oddly, you might be wondering how this differs from the other wall color in the above picture.  I can’t explain it, but the yellow that’s on the walls right now seems to photograph just like this Willow herb color even though it’s about 10 shades brighter and much more vivid.  In fact, this room is particularly hard to take color-correct photos in and always has been, for some reason.  Regardless, I think this color should look good.  It’s funny, though. I went into this whole painting endeavor with the idea that I wanted cool, cool, cool colors – maybe a teal or a gray or a cool blue.  Now I’ve (once again) picked nothing but warm yellow-based tones, just like always.  Oh well, I guess that’s just my palette in the end!

Hey, I just realized – my new room colors are basically this blog’s theme colors.  All I need is a bit of orange to throw in!  I am totally a creature of habit without even knowing it.

I like the colors you chose! The ladder gives a “hint” of a touch of orange! Can’t wait to see the finished room!

Thanks, Marsha! Sad news, though… I painted over the Willow Herb with Asparagus. Now all 4 walls are green! More pics to come later 🙂

Green is even better – I love green! I good friend of mine (an older lady) was in her final days of life due to cancer and one day she turned to her daughter and said “Marsha loves green”. She laid back down and only spoke a couple of times more before she died. So, you see – I love green! Asparagus sounds perfect and very inspiring!

I love the color! It’s very similar to what I painted my bedroom (Secret Garden). Love it lots!

Oh yeah! Everyone always asked me, “Is that a pager?” because I kept it inside my pocket with the clip on the outside of my pocket. This was before kids had cellphones. I was the attendance TA so I always walked a lot at school and racked up Pikachu points.
