Isn’t this hat cute?
I just bought this hat on a complete whim! I hope it fits my wee head!
I’m not usually a hat person, but it was on mega sale from a website that I heard about over the weekend. FunkyFrum.com specializes in clothing for “fashion-savvy, modern women who are committed to modest dress because of religious or personal standards.” Though I’m not necessarily in their target demographics (I have neither religious nor personal standards…) I was inspired by the beautiful teal skirt that the ex-coworker hatmaker from CraftBoston was wearing and perused the site.
Yay for a new hat! Cross your fingers that it fits!

OK, my fingers are crossed. Now, what is the proper etiquette for supportive finger-crossing? I don’t have to keep them crossed until the hat arrives, do I? Because that would significantly hamper important daily activities, such as posting comments on your blog. Which, btw, has proven challenging, typing with the crossed fingers as I am.

You are so lucky to get that hat. It is adorable. I looked at that site and nearly fainted at the prices though.
