Strapping Saturday

Here’s a little patchwork belt I made for myself today, sparked by a recent purchase of a pair of jeans that needs one. So, I thought I’d kill three birds with one stone – use up some scraps, warm back up to sewing after a reasonably long hiatus (have you noticed? It’s been pretty dead here for a few weeks), and make something functional at the same time.  It’s made with some extra heavyweight interfacing and some fabric wrapped around.  No big deal.  Stitched together with a ribbon on the back, some little belt loops, and voila!  A belt.  Soon I’ll post about some various crafting adventures I’ve been having.  Stay tuned!

[…] kind of funny.  When I made my last patchwork belt, I had no idea that I would end up wearing it about 3 times a week.  It’s a great weekend […]
